The Construction & Operations Division of Public Works is looking for a Stormwater Project Manager to oversee a very successful group of individuals who maintain Prince William County’s Stormwater Infrastructure. ABOUT THIS ROLE:
We are seeking a talented professional to join our Construction & Operations team as the Stormwater Project Manager. This position has three stormwater maintenance crews, a crew of inspectors, and a sub-group of contractors at their disposal to maintain the ever-growing stormwater infrastructure of Prince William County. This position will work closely with the division’s surveyor, the watershed management branch staff and the Field Supervisors.

PREFERENCES:
A graduate Engineer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related Field. The candidate should have a strong background in stormwater management. Experience working with County/State construction specifications and regulations. Experience working with multiple stakeholders to accomplish objectives.

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: M-F, 37.5 hour week.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Valid Virginia State Driver’s License.

ENTRY SALARY RANGE: $79,009.00 – $113,896.00

This position qualifies for a $3000 hiring bonus for an Engineer (No PE).

This position qualifies for a $5000 hiring bonus for an Engineer (PE).

The bonus is payable in 2 equal installments during the first year of employment as funding allows.
