Our client, an established building management company, is looking for Leasing Agents to join their team. This position operates in their New York City offices, with locations in Brooklyn. Candidates must have a passion for Real Estate. Ideal candidates will have on-site leasing experience.
- Pay rate: $28 per hour as a temp, 65-70k per year when perm
- Must have Yardi experience
Responsibilities:
- Assist in leasing apartments
- Run between buildings to show apartments to potential tenants
- Represent property owner in new leasing transactions for luxury high-rise complexes in Manhattan
- Determine pricing and negotiate new lease terms to maximize landlord revenues while consistently closing new business
- Create internal and external marketing materials, including promotional web site content, building brochures, training materials and daily web advertising
- Manage and coordinate rent stabilized lease closings
Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience in this field
- Computer skills are a must, particularly in Excel and running credit checks
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to think quickly
- Must have a friendly interpersonal skills
- Must enjoy working in the Real Estate industry
- Understands the importance in taking the time to get to know your clients and building relationships
