Job Description:

This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing our Janssen North America digital engagement strategy; managing Janssen US social channels, with a priority focus on moderating our @JanssenUS twitter channel; supporting executive and functional communications for Commercial Strategy & Operations (CS&O) team; and responding to media inquiries for select established products with transparent patient-focused messaging

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plan and SOP for engagement on Janssen US owned social channels, aligned to our Janssen narrative.
  • Day-to-day management of @JanssenUS Twitter account and Janssen.com
  • Serve as North America media contact, triaging requests appropriately for timely response
  • Raise executive visibility externally for senior leaders through execution of thought leadership LinkedIn content
  • Support executive communications for the Head of Commercial Strategy and Operations (CS&O), including newsletters, town halls, organizational announcements, and other functional communications
  • Proactive issues management of key established products in the media, with a focus on clear, patient-focused messaging
  • Serve as a strategic liaison for a designated Therapeutic Area (TA) to synchronize enterprise and TA communications strategy and execution
  • Support special communication projects across the Enterprise Engagement and Communications team.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelors degree is required with a preference of study in the areas of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or closely related field

Experience and Skills:

Required :

  • Minimum of 5 years’ related experience
  • Experience in social media and/or digital platforms
  • Self-motivated learner, with experience in communications or related field
  • Ability to collaborate, prioritize and lead projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written, verbal and visual communications
  • Ability to build positive relationships with senior executives and influence partners

Preferred:

  • Healthcare experience

Other:

  • Up to 15% domestic and international travel

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $93,000 to $166,750. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
