Job Summary
The Engagement Specialist for the Discovery business Marketing Team, will play an integral role in the execution of commercial lead identification, nurturing and engagement. This position is responsible for creating relevant interest within the drug discovery market through outbound marketing campaigns that promote and drive demand.
This position will work remotely.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize lead nurturing initiatives through impactful communication channels to generate qualified leads for the Charles River Discovery portfolio.
- Engage with qualified first touch leads through effective and impactful message curation and strategic engagement and implementation of impactful automated drip campaigns working with strategic marketing.
- Use digital tools to enhance personalization of outreach to deliver message at a timely point within the client buying journey.
- Have continual awareness of the dynamic Discovery market for opportunities in how and where Charles River can deliver value through its offerings.
- Utilize effective data mining and lead generation platform tools to help identify targets for engagement of personas to progress in their research work and generate conversions.
- Monitor performance of engagements and conversions, evaluate effectiveness, and optimize for future projects through monitoring of dashboards and KPI metrics.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to engage and help develop account-based marketing campaigns in the various customer segments to nurture new and existing client organizations.
- Perform Data Hygiene processes.
- Utilize Salesforce to monitor, advance opportunity status progression and review/report on completed projects.
- Ensure a competent and professional image to the customer and an accurate portrayal of business strategies.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all company product lines with more in-depth knowledge of business segment that is being supported.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
Education, Experience, and Licensure
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A /B.S.) or equivalent in marketing, business, or related discipline. Science background highly preferred.
• 1-2 years related experience in marketing or client engagement related services.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute.
• Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive matters
• Proven experience in outbound marketing or similar client-facing roles an advantage
• Well-organized and detail oriented
• Exceptional communication and writing skills
• Strategic thinking and excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well under deadlines and pressure
• Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind
• Experience working with Salesforce, or a similar CRM database an advantage
• Comfort (familiarity) with LinkedIn and preferrable LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Technical Skills
• An understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/social media etc.).
• Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools an advantage.
• Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (CRM)
• Ability to quickly learn new software and applications
Compensation Data
The pay range for this position is $60K – 65K USD. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
