Weyerhaeuser’s Olympia Export Yard is hiring a Utility position. We are seeking individuals who desire to work in a customer-focused, raw materials export facility while maintaining a positive attitude and good work ethic.
This is a full-time position. Hourly employees at this operation are represented by the IAM-AW Union. The pay rate is $26.080. Benefits (in accordance with the Labor Agreement) include medical, dental, 401k plans, vacation, and holidays.
Key Functions:
- Perform miscellaneous clean-up and general housekeeping activities as required
- Clean rolling stock and equipment
- Operate front end loader, skid-steer, forklift, man lift, water truck, and log handling equipment
- Site and facility audits as required
- Must be competent, qualified, and be able to work independently and/or as a team member
- Ability to prioritize work schedule and work under pressure.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Solid work history
- Demonstrated commitment to working safely and following all safe working practices and always looking out for the safety of co-workers
- Must have excellent listening and communication skills; ability to demonstrate open, honest, and regular exchange of information; and treat all employees with respect and dignity
- Must be team oriented; put team’s needs ahead of individual interests; work to develop trust and respect; take initiative and solve issues; accept personal accountability for team’s plans and results
- Available to work all shifts
- Complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check

Compensation :Your wages and benefits are set by the labor agreement between Weyerhaeuser and the union representing employees at this work site. The pay rate is $26.080 per hour.
