Job Description:
The Senior Finance Analyst will be instrumental in partnering with the Supply Chain function and FP&A leaders to establish and drive high-performance capabilities. The role will help develop, interpret and quantify financial and operational metrics and analyses related to Supply Chain operations activities. This role will also be critical in ensuring accuracy of Supply Chain reporting and result and also partnering with the Supply Chain teams, as well as the other cross-functional teams in the organization. The Senior Financial Analyst will also develop, quantify, and interpret financial and operational metrics and analyses related to all aspects of the Logistics Organization too. This role is a remote-based opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close process by meeting all deadlines with accurate submissions, while also seeking areas of improvement in current processes.
• Analyze and provide insights for actual vs plan, forecast, prior year, comparison reporting.
• Conduct detailed analyses as requested and provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Monitor and analyze key Logistics performance indicators (KPI’s) and provide insights driving visibility for improved results.
• Provide financial support through analytics and expertise to all budget owners across the team.
• Ability to sift through and analyze data and present insights in a concise and structured manner.
• Research, track and summarize key data including, trends, profitability and expense analyses.
• Assist in the development, consolidation and analysis of the annual plan, forecasts, and strategic plan.
• Through analytics identify risks and opportunities for the business. Provide interpretation and insights.
• Identify and implement sustainable process improvements that can be incorporated into ongoing standard work within the organization.
• Provide analytics and data gathering for various projects across the logistics organization.
• Assist the Finance Manager with ad-hoc assignments as needed.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or in a related field required.
• 3+ years of professional work experience in Finance or Accounting required, preferably supporting Supply Chain or Logistics functions.
• Must be advanced in MS Office, including in MS Excel (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, etc.).
• Must have a solid understanding of accounting principles (accruals, prepaid accounts, etc.).
• Must possess excellent communication (oral and written), follow-up, presentation, organizational and stakeholder management (internal and external) skills.
• Must have excellent timer management and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify and communicate potential opportunities and risks.
• Willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Must be agile and able to influence others to drive results or develop solutions.
• Current or prior knowledge of SAP, Oracle, GL Wand, Hyperion, and Tableau knowledge a plus.
• Willing and able to travel up to 5% based on the needs of the team and business.
The approximate pay range for this position is $89,000 to $117,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
