Lone Star Court is located in the Domain in Austin Tx and is a pillar of the community. Shift Availability requirements: 11PM – 7 AM weekdays and weekends
Efforts will be made to accommodate best desired schedule when possible.
JOB SUMMARY: Balance and account for all daily cash and charge transactions, Running Daily reports and preparing the next day for success.
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting: Frequently. Sitting behind a desk in a backed chair.
- Standing/Walking: Frequently. Standing on tile or carpet at the front desk while performing job duties sometimes throughout a complete shift.
- Crouching (Bend at knees): Frequently. Loading and unloading computer
- Handling/Grasping: Frequently. Sorting and filing of large quantities of paperwork.
Working Environment:
Interior and exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
DUTIES & FUNCTIONS:
Essential:
- Ensure that all charges of the day have been properly posted to the appropriate guest folio or master account
- Ensure that all guest charges have been balanced and all appropriate reports have been run
- Check guests in and out
- Reconciles all Food and Beverage outlet postings
- Act as Manager on Duty when necessary
- Have a thorough understanding of hotel fire alarm procedures and other emergencies
Basics: - Attend required meetings
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Be extremely courteous to all customers and fellow employees
- Report unsafe conditions to your supervisor immediately
- Maintain hotel equipment in proper working conditions.
- Any other duties assigned by your immediate supervisor
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Hotel Operations or Customer Service experience preferred
- Communicates effectively with others
- Able to check in and check out guests
- Able to stay awake for 8 hour shift.
- Works productively with a team
- Effective multitasking skills
- Composure and patience under pressure
- Skilled in working with multiple computer programs
