Category Leadership:
Demand Accelerator is a team that represents a transformation of Shopper Insights, Shopper Marketing, Category Leadership, and Space Engineering resources to support Sales and Marketing plans for enterprise, national, and regional customers across the PepsiCo portfolio. This approach allows us to build best-in-class capabilities, develop deep functional expertise, and offer focused programs to drive growth with our customers. The Demand Accelerator will help PepsiCo provide our customers with cutting edge data and insights, as well as, personalized solutions to drive incremental growth for both our customers and PepsiCo.
This role will be responsible for delivering PepsiCo’s transformational Big Bets initiatives at Dollar General. Key responsibilities include leading total store layout & adjacency customer consulting and projects, Better Together immediate consumption analysis and projects, new store concept analytics, white space opportunity projects and provide analytic & insights support for PepsiCo AOP, JBP and DX Internal Review processes. This role will help deliver a number of projects pre-aligned with the customer with high growth potential but are resource constrained to progress at pace desired by us and customer. This role is also designed to lead future growth initiatives that are PepsiCo in scope to build pipeline for growth and execute strategic projects that are across the 3 BUs, such as Better Together Immediate Consumption strategies and initiatives and Future Store Now projects where we will lead store re-design and testing for edibles that can be scaled upon success.
Responsibilities
- Big Bet initiatives that are total PepsiCo in nature to include but not limited to: Total Store, Front End, Shopper Segmentation, and certain white spaces
- Help lead insights development and support for the development, implementation and tracking of the Joint Business Plan with Dollar General and the PepsiCo Annual Operating Plan
- Ensure insights and plans drive category growth, market share expansion and financial plan success
- Utilize information from multiple sources such as 1010, IRI POS, IRI Panel, Numerator and internal research to identify growth opportunities
- Develop impactful content to convey growth opportunities to internal and external partners across the main levers of our business with focus on assortment, space, promotions, pricing and displays
- Develop strong working relationships with Dollar General, 1010, Internal PepsiCo teams and all relevant business partners
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of broad CPG, Category Management, and Shopper Insights experience
- Strong category management and project management skills
- Working knowledge of syndicated data via IRI and/or Nielsen required. Will work with several data sources in the role
- Highly proficient MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and Tableau
- Executive communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Customer development experience/skill leading customer engagements across multiple levels within customer
- High degree of functional proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, IRI or Nielsen
- Strategy experience preferred through internal/external consulting, sales strategy and or category leadership
- Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking; ability to link strategies and objectives to develop compelling stories
- Project management skills, ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire
- Soft skills to successfully influence internal and external constituents

Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $100,500 – $ 168,150 based on a full-time schedule
- Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement
