This position involves a hybrid work schedule – working remotely: Monday & Friday / on site: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Direct mail is the major channel of NYL Marketing with a proven track record of delivering successful results. As a Senior Marketing Analytics and Campaign Associate, you will be a part of the Direct Mail analytics team, helping evaluate performance, build campaign insight, and perform campaign execution. This role necessitates a hard-working individual with technical skills, attention to detail and an attitude of seeking continuous improvement. Experiencing with SQL or report visualization tools like MicroStrategy, Periscope or PowerBI required. Prior direct mail experience helpful but not required. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a small team doing big things.
- Use critical thinking and analytics to drive post-campaign evaluations. Develop and present recommendations on performance trends and Test & Learn results.
- Develop and deploy campaign results reporting dashboards in MicroStrategy toolset.
- Partner with Sr. Leadership to drive streamlined execution solutions that improve the channel’s ability to operate efficiently and innovate continuously.
- Manage data driven execution of Direct Mail campaigns throughout all stages: from strategic planning to production hand off.
- Collaborate closely with internal (Compliance, Production, Creative, Product Strategy) and external (Data, Agencies, and Print vendors) partners to ensure high execution quality.
- Partner with Digital and E-mail teams on cross-channel marketing opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative field preferred
- 3+ years related experience required
- Strong quantitative skills, Microsoft Office Suite, and database/query applications knowledge (SQL/R)
- Ability to drive data driven Direct Mail Marketing campaigns execution and performance monitoring across multiple segments and products.
- High degree of responsibility for leveraging the database querying, analyzing data, summarizing results. End user Business Intelligence software experience (MicroStrategy) is a plus.
- Requires strong quantitative skills and high attention to details.
- Ability to apply quantitative analysis and critical thinking to solve complex and time sensitive campaign execution issues. May need to handle multiple concurring priorities with minimal guidance.
- Requires close partnership with Compliance, Production, Creative, Product Strategy departments to understand business needs, overcome challenges and deliver results
- Requires a motivated professional with a passion for data and high degree of intellectual curiosity.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization to execute campaigns.
- Ability to orchestrate and sign-off on outputs for multi-million dollar campaign execution mail file creation.
- Ability to identify and alert leadership of problems that may impact ability to effectively and accurately execute marketing campaigns. Ability to find and propose effective campaign execution solutions to Acxiom.
- Ability to participate and provide Mail Plan overviews in business forums. Will interact with NYLD leadership and external vendors.
