As the Senior Product Manager of Master Data (SAP), you will build processes, procedures, and guidelines and guide the Master Data team at Nike to succeed with new technology in an omnichannel environment. As we support the organization’s initiative to strengthen our Consumer Direct offense, you will be responsible for owning the Customer Master Data team, and to improve the team’s contribution in supporting all functions with accurate and comprehensive Master Data, in order to achieve the organizational goal of strengthening our Consumer Direct offense.
Responsibilities
- Lead Master Data and Governance activities as part of day-to-day responsibilities that include guiding BSAs and Developers on all changes required for Customer and Vendor Master Data.
- Lead the master squad on project and product support needs in steady state phase.
- Formulate and activate the intake process for issue / changes related to SAP Master data.
- Guide SAP Master data team on master data changes proposed to run our business successfully.
- Lead SAP master data team on all requirements, Design, development, and testing of software projects.
- Partner with other technical teams / Business for all SAP Customer and vendor master requirements.
- Lead and Perform FIT -GAP on all SAP Customer and vendor master design needs and guide team on solutions.
- Formulate, set up and govern the process needed to address all master data integration needs from various sources.
- Coordination with all Stakeholder & support functions for all SAP Master data Design, development and testing needs.
- Single point of contact to coordinate on management reporting to leadership related to SAP master data.
- Cross functional coordination for all project requirements, create stakeholder transparency and alignment on all project needs.
- Lead all Agile processes for Master data projects, coordinate with Project manager, Scrum master & Development team on day-to-day activities.
- Work with internal and external partners, and other support services to remove any blockers.
- Responsible for cutover and data conversion process for all master data related work.
- Coordinate with SAP Engineering, Architect, Testing and Release teams for all project implementations.
- Govern and lead 100 % utilization of Agile tools like Jira/Version One and testing tool for all SAP project implementation.
- Identify knowledge gaps within the team, coordinate and help with all training needs.
- Lead the master data team on the design & development of master data integration from source to target.
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of Master Data documents like Blue Print/Func spec, Technical Spec, Configuration, Source to Target mapping, testing, and steady-state instructions.
Qualifications
- A minimum of four-year degree in IT, Sales Management functions, or a related field, along with 8 years of experience in SAP Master Data, predominantly in the Customer and Vendor master area that includes sales and purchase functions, is required.
- In-depth knowledge of ECC, SAP AFS, or SAP Retail is required, along with complete business process knowledge.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4 Fashion & SAP MDG implementation is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience in implementing SAP Customer/Vendor Master for ECC, SAP AFS, or SAP Retail.
- A demonstrated ability to lead a Sales & Distribution or Materials Management module implementation and integration team is required.
- Knowledge of SAP Master Data configuration is required, and programming knowledge in ABAP is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of Agile/SAFe methodologies are required.
- Hands-on experience in using testing tools for projects is required.
- Ability to translate complex ideas and data into easily understandable insights for the Master Data team.
- Strong presentation skills, with experience addressing senior leaders communications.
- Good communication and leadership skills to lead a project team.
Preferred
- Experience in working on large-scale global projects.
- Experience in working with virtual teams and cross-functional partners.
- Experience in working with offshore/nearshore teams.
Remote Work Option -open to remote work except cannot work in the following locations: SD,VT, and WV. These candidates will be required to relocate. The annual base salary for this position ranges from $109,500 in our lowest geographic market to $217,000 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary
