We’re seeking a Senior Project Manager to managing teams, work closely with clients, and oversee complex remedial projects for federal clients. You’ll apply your managerial and technical experience in environmental remediation to develop strategies and relationships while championing safety, quality, and the well-being of your team.
Based out of our Seattle or Portland office, you’ll have the opportunity to work on remediation projects across the region and across the country. You’ll grow your career as you interact with key client to grow our business while working with recognized technical experts, developing and implementing comprehensive site strategies, and delivering innovative solutions on some of the most challenging sites. You’ll collaboratively manage project teams that include junior field and writing staff, senior technical consultants, and technical subject matter experts, with support from Jacobs internal management, to deliver environmental projects with a strong focus and emphasis on environmental remediation.

Typical salary range for this position is $140,900 to $184,950 and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, geological engineering, geology, or other closely related degrees
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with contractors, team members, regulatory agencies, and clients
• Ability to think strategically and critically analyze details. Able to think on multiple levels while gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing relevant data to make sound recommendations.
• Experience as project manager at large, complex sites involving multiple operable units, non-aqueous phase liquid, and contaminated soil, sediment, and groundwater
• Experience conducting site investigations/characterizations, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, engineering evaluations, remedial designs/actions, and optimizing remediation systems.
• Experience in identifying and resolving key issues impacting remedy implementation (technical, regulatory, risk, land use, etc.) and emerging issues
• Familiarity with federal regulations and state regulations in the Pacific Northwest, specifically in Washington and Oregon, and experience with the United States Environmental Protection Agency Superfund process
• Experience as a Project Manager providing client consulting services and representing clients to stakeholders such as regulatory agencies, property owners, government officials, and other consultants
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
• Knowledge of USEPA regulations including CERCLA and RCRA
• Experience with the environmental consulting industry managing DoD projects and/or experience with the DoD Environmental Restoration Program
• Master’s degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, environmental science, geology or other closely related technical field
• Professional Engineer or Geologist or Project Management Professional (PE, PG, or PMP) certification or ability to obtain and maintain
• US citizenship
