Product Manager II (Tools and Analytics)

The Product Manager II for Tools and Analytics is responsible for managing customer-facing products and services for IFE data analytics and reporting tools. The Product Manager II will be a conduit to internal and airline/partner stakeholders, as well as other Product Managers to define and prioritize features in the product backlog. They will work directly with the Product and Business Stakeholders on the overall backlog and and planning activities. They are an outcome focused individual with a passion for bettering inflight experience for airlines and travelers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead ideation efforts, technical development, and launches of innovative IFEC products and services used by airlines to manage, interpret and analyze airline data and performance metrics
  • Assist in establishing a shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to execution
  • Gather and transform business and airline needs into product requirements efficiently
  • Drive platform development with a team of world-class engineers, product designers, and cross-functional partners
  • Input into short-term and long-term product roadmaps
  • Ensure products that are being created have the long-term operational plan defined
  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into platform requirements to enhance user satisfaction
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
  • Understand the IFEC, Consumer Technology, and Entertainment Technology market
  • Understand our competitive position and deliver products that are recognized best in the industry and capture the voice of the customer

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 3-6 years of experience working in Product Management or Product Development
  • Experience developing reporting and data management tools
  • Familiarity with product design and development of SaaS applications
  • Experience with data analysis, data visualization, and user-centric design
  • Experience with PowerBI, SQL, and HTML based applications, or similar technologies
  • Familiarity with audio, video, multimedia content management tools is a plus
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of Product Management tools such as A-Ha, JAMA, Jira and wireframing software highly desired

Benefits

The starting pay range for this position is $85,000 to 113,000 per year however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
