Technical Product Manager

The Technical Product Manager is a US-based position, with offices in Fort Collins, CO. This position can be in-office, remote* (in approved US states), or a hybrid of the two.

Who you are

  • You have a minimum of 2+ years of product management experience.
  • You are an expert at defining goals, creating release plans, and handling the distribution of tasks.
  • You are an excellent communicator and know how to balance demands from multiple stakeholders.
  • You have worked in an agile development environment, and understand the complexities of SDLC management.
  • You are thorough in your work.
  • Bonus: former experience as an application developer.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

  • Clearly articulate the business value to the development team so they understand the intent behind the new product or product release.
  • Owns their product’s roadmap and assists executive leadership in prioritizing issue completion to achieve the strategic goals and initiatives behind the product and company.
  • Has a thorough understanding of their product’s stakeholders and their present & future needs.
  • Gather specific requirements from relevant stakeholders and parties pertaining to features and requests of their product.
  • Write tasks/stories that engineers follow to achieve product goals (Spec writing).
  • Assist with the QA process and ensure a high-quality standard of their product.
  • Communicating important changes to other teams.
  • Plan releases with lead engineers and update product blogs about new developments.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and involved parties regarding releases, timeline updates, expectations, etc.
  • Generate documentation for the knowledge base related to their product.
  • Assist in the creative process of generating, developing, and curating ideas for their product.
  • Work with other product managers when there are intersections in features between their product and another to eliminate gaps in the development process.

Salary Range

$100,000 – $160,000 annual, depending on experience

Eligibility to enter the plan is the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
