Sr. Director, Streaming US
New York
We are looking for a Senior Director of Streaming, who is an expert in digital retailer platforms. This role will be responsible for managing DSP accounts and working closely with our global repertoire owners to provide opportunities for all artists. We are also looking for someone with excellent managerial skills and who is eager to learn all aspects of the digital landscape as it correlates to music.
What You’ll Be Doing.
- Oversee the Streaming Account Managers for North America
- Working closely with BMG’s Recorded Music repertoire owners on priorities artists and projects
- Pitch artists and delivering assets for both playlisting and marketing opportunities
- Create weekly placement reports for Product Managers and Artist Managers
- Monitor release day placements, playlist adds and daily streaming numbers for priority tracks
- Implement best practices for DSP’s, including Canvas curation, bio, press images
- Liaise with the Global Streaming team on a weekly basis on marketing initiatives in the US
- Partner with other divisions within BMG to align on marketing efforts and opportunities to create revenue
- Report key news and industry trends in the streaming space to the Recorded Music team
- Work closely with Analytics team on streaming performance and make appropriate recommendations
Must-Haves.
- Experience in the music industry within digital marketing & commerce
- Experience with building relationships with the accounts, clients, artist managers and internal teams
- Must be incredibly organized and goal minded
- A creative mind with the ability to bring forth new ideas around specific marketing campaigns
- Ability to take initiative and work well in a team environment
It’s a plus if you also have:
- Passion for promoting music and connecting fans with their favorite (or soon-to-be favorite) artists
- A general understanding of the role of metadata, platform algorithms and the effect on content discovery

Pay Range.
$100,000 – 120,000 per annum
The pay range listed above is dependent upon factors such as work experience, qualifications and business needs. In addition to the range above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and applicable benefits.
