Job Description
We are currently seeking a well-rounded leader to join Citizens as a Product Manager on the Core Banking Checking & Deposits team. This position will be responsible for driving product/segment strategy and using data driven analysis to ensure financial objectives are met. The role requires an individual with a strong combination of customer first mentality, strategic thinking, problem solving, and financial acumen with an analytical and data driven approach.
Examples of scope of responsibilities include:
- Partner with internal stakeholders to implement, manage content changes/approvals, and support enhancements around product changes.
- Drive and enhance strong controls, issue identification and resolution processes to ensure positive customer outcomes.
- Develop strong partnerships with key partners across the organization
- Ongoing competitive analysis including key market trends, specific competitor product offer review, and overall opportunity assessments to drive recommendations for market opportunities on existing and new products
- Strategic management of large and small initiatives aimed at improving the customer and/or colleague experience, with focus on the end-to-end interaction of a customer
- Meet with senior leadership to report on results and trends and present go-forward strategies for continuous profitable product growth
To be successful in this role the colleague must focus relentlessly on the customer experience, leverage strong communication skills to create alignment, gain buy-in, and translate that vision to viable execution plans and partner to deliver them with the goal of improving overall product performance and customer deepening. The colleague must be proactive in their approach, able to manage multiple priorities, and able to work well with internal departments to drive success. The individual is required to translate product and industry trends into actionable initiatives to support customer deepening and reduce friction in the customer experience at each step. They must be aware of compliance and regulatory requirements and keep in line with risk expectations at all times.
Qualifications
- 10+ years Financial Services, Consumer Lending and/or FinTech experience
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Analytical Thinking/Problem Solving
- Leadership of experience initiatives with ability to manage projects
- Working collaboratively with team members across line of business and staff areas
- Creativity/Innovation
- Ability to design and author communications and management reports
- Persistent follow-through in execution of key projects
- Demonstrated personal passion in the pursuit of better solutions for our customers
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to design and author communications
- Pride of ownership of problems and solutions
- Excellent time management skills for effectiveness in fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent end-to-end problem solving skills and ability to prioritize issues and analysis
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Bachelors Degree required
Hours and Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: M-F 8-5

The salary range for this position is $132,000-$218,750, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
