The Clinical Operations Specialist provides detailed clinical study support to clients and study participants and to support the participants in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and relevant Standard Operating Procedures
Responsibilities
- Support participants over phone and email through inbound and outbound activity
- Participant enrollment and consent verification
- Provide technical troubleshooting for clinical study devices
- Gather feedback from participants
Minimum qualifications
- Education: BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Fluent in English and Spanish with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting clinical study operations and interacting with study participants
- Empathetic and tech savvy, with strong attention to detail
- Confident presenter with solid soft skills on the phone
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of applicable clinical research regulatory requirements; Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
- Proficiency with G Suite and Salesforce
- Effective time management and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work Operational Metrics
- Log and track participant transactions
- Email and call volume
- Abandon Rate
- CSAT
- Quality assurance scorecard evaluations
The hourly rate for this position is between $24 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
