We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with a demonstrated understanding of natural language processing and with practical expertise in building large-scale ML products. The ideal candidate will have a real bias for action, take ownership, and thrive on autonomy and deliver results.

Responsibilities:

  • Build & maintain machine learning and big data production pipelines to support advanced AI/ML solutions
  • Collaborate closely with Product an d Engineering to design, develop and deploy new solutions that support strategic business priorities
  • Contribute to every phase of the product development life cycle (design, development, testing, iteration, deployment)
  • Lead in conducting technology proof of concept projects
  • Provide guidance and support to less experienced colleagues

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to productionize models

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • 6+ years of building production scale ML models
  • Experience with Natural Language Processing and Pytorch/Tensoflow
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL
  • Desire to be hands-on and help invent the future of AI
  • Demonstrated problem solving, planning, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Java/ C++/C# is a plus

Software Engineering IC4 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 – $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 – $238,600 per year.
