How will you make an impact?

We are seeking a highly qualified professional to serve as Product Manager for our Marketing Channels or also known as Omni-Channel Marketing. You will support the responsible channel’s strategy, roadmap, and enablement of new and previous capabilities. You will work closely with the Senior Digital Product Manager, marketing leaders, and development/IT teams to define requirements and details for all things related to issues, capabilities, and development. We believe the ideal candidate will possess an outstanding blend of digital marketing, marketing technology knowledge, strong requirement elicitation, and social skills. The Product Manager will act as the voice of the customer in articulating and prioritizing desired functionality.

What will you do?

  • Strategic leadership and planning – Perform project discovery, requirements definition, metric analysis, works well with technical teams, and business teams to facilitate the development of new innovative capabilities. You will be the subject matter expert that is responsible for the product and feature roadmap for marketing channel capabilities.
  • Marketing channel solutions and delivery – Working with technical development teams to deliver new capabilities to the Marketing team for strategy planning, forecasting, and automation of the delivery of marketing offers across customer touchpoints. Works with product management lead and marketing team members for improving, scaling, optimizing, and adopting product area capabilities across Thermo Fisher Scientific business divisions.
  • Marketing channel technology & measurement – Investigate marketing technology by using various tools (i.e., competitor dynamics and capabilities, voice of customer, customer experience tools, etc.) and understanding campaign execution technology to deliver personalized offers along the Customer Buyers Journey. Defines metrics and dashboards for measurement and tracking of the marketing channel program. Performs business and financial analysis, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Global Matrix Organization – Works with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of initiatives by balancing the business needs versus technical constraints. We expect to be able to provide intensity and immediate involvement when issues arise and ability to resolve risks to drive solutions. Coordinates among internal partners to ensure alignment of objectives with company goals and perform other duties as assigned

How will you get here?

Education

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in marketing, computer science, computer engineering, statistics, or an equivalent field

Experience

  • 4+ combined years of experience in digital marketing, data science, data analytics, sales operations, and/or software development
  • 2+ years as a member of a Scrum team, product owner or similar role

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Highly effective communicator, ability to analyze situations, apply the highest of integrity, discretion, and initiative to address problems and develop practical, detailed, and creative solutions
  • Self-starter with experience working within, influencing within, and networking within the political climate of a large matrixed organization
  • Experience with enterprise-level digital marketing solutions with diverse technologies and processing environments
  • Thrives in a complex fast-paced environment
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) preferred
  • Knowledge in Atlassian or related tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) preferred

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Pennsylvania is $103,100.00-$154,700.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
