Process Manager, Principal Associate
Capital One is seeking a Process Manager to support the Enterprise Data and Machine Learning (EDML) line of business.
This individual must be able to effectively communicate and influence partners across multiple functional areas including multiple levels of the organization. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic Agile environment are essential to succeeding in this role. This individual must display strong leadership skills and be able to drive and motivate others in delivering flawless execution of process improvement projects..
General Responsibilities:
- Review documentation for consistency across processes while prioritizing the application of standards and style guides
- Transform complex materials into clear and concise documentation that will be read by target audience members such as Engineers, Product Managers, Architects, and Senior Leadership.
- Translate complex ideas into understandable logical concepts, project plans, and process flows
- Collaborate with engineers and architects on a daily basis to create training content and ensure process and training documentation is kept up-to-date
- Be able to perform basic data analysis and proficient in understanding data trends to drive process improvements
- Rely upon metrics and other forms of data to understand the variation in utility of the content, and identify areas in need of review
- Maintain and continuously update content management system(s) of documentation
- Maintain formal process documents (e.g. Templates and process flows), and document processes and projects
- Effectively partner with Product, Technology and Intent Owners to achieve desired outcomes or improvements by clarifying needs and translating for various audiences
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of Process or Project Management experience
- At least 1 year of experience creating and presenting training materials
- At least 1 year of experience working with technology teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4+ years of Process Management experience

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Location is New York City: $103,900 – $118,600 for Principal Process Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
