Description

COPE was awarded money from the Arizona Attorney General’s Office to provide outreach and re-engagement services to COPE clients and community members who have substance abuse and/or mental health disorders. The Outreach Worker will be responsible for identifying, locating and engaging people in treatment and integrated health services. Must be able to follow up with patients who have disengaged from services or fail to show for their intake. We have 4 openings available, one at each of the following clinics (Craycroft, Lakeside, La Cholla, Mesquite).

The grant and position ends on December 31, 2023.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED plus four (4) years experience providing behavioral health services (i.e, assessment, diagnosis, or treatment of an individual’s behavioral health issue) in an agency, to an individual or in a field related to behavioral health.
  • Associates degree plus two (2) years experience providing behavioral health services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a non-behavioral health related field plus one (1) year experience providing behavioral health services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health related field, no experience necessary.

Additional Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age (automobile insurance requirement) and possess a valid AZ driver’s license with a clean or acceptable driving record.

At time of job offer, submission of 36 month (three year) driving record from DMV will be required. These standards must be maintained throughout employment and up-to-date driving records are reviewed regularly for current employees.

Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background.
