Merchant Onboarding Specialist, UberEats

About the Role

The Client Success Specialist / Onboarding Specialist role is a great opportunity to demonstrate your relationship management and client-facing skills. This role focuses on post-sale Small-to-Medium Sized Business, to increase the velocity at which merchants launch on the Uber Eats platform to drive revenue and expand service. Client Success Specialist / Onboarding Specialists are critical to ensuring our newest partners joining Uber Eats are set up for success on our platform.

What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points

—- What the Candidate Will Do —-

– Complete outreach to merchants via email and phone to help expedite the onboarding process and help merchants go live on Uber Eats
– Problem solve, troubleshoot, and partner with our restaurant merchants to successfully take their first order on Uber Eats
– Be the point of contact for newly onboarded merchants to ensure the account is optimized and set up for early-life cycle success
– Work directly with Sales and Account Management to streamline handoff between Sales, Onboarding Specialist, and Account Management teams
– Drive improvement of key KPI Close Won First Trip conversion across the California & Pacific Northwest territory

—- Basic Qualifications —-

– At least 1 year of experience in sales, customer support , account management, or similar functions
– Willingness to roll up your sleeves, and get in the weeds to assist merchants with varying pain points
– Outstanding work ethic and attention to detail
– Ability to handle operation through the phone and guide merchants to the next steps
– Ability to multitask and prioritize between many operations

– Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
– Customer-facing, client support experience
– Proven achievement in performance-based role
– Effective communication with colleagues and clients
– Experience organizing projects and meeting deadlines
– Experience in multi-tasking work with attention to detail
– Coachability, interest in implementing feedback, and dedication to building your brand
– Experience with food delivery or hospitality technology sales

For Santa Monica, CA-based roles: The base hourly rate range for this role is $31.98 per hour – $33.78 per hour.
