We are looking for a Hardware Asset Manager to join our team and oversee the management and maintenance of our company’s hardware assets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all hardware assets are accounted for, tracked, and properly maintained throughout their lifecycle.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and implement hardware asset management policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of all hardware assets, including purchase dates, maintenance schedules, and locations
- Monitor hardware inventory levels to ensure that adequate stock is available for current and future needs
- Coordinate with the procurement team to purchase new hardware assets as needed
- Perform regular audits to ensure that all hardware assets are in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Ensure that all hardware assets are properly configured and updated with the latest software and security patches
- Provide training and support to end-users on the proper use and care of hardware assets
- Collaborate with other teams, such as IT and security, to ensure that hardware assets are in compliance with industry standards and regulations
What you will need to know/have:
- 3+ years of experience in hardware asset management
- Knowledge of asset management software and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to hardware asset management
