Environmental Sampling and O&M Technician – Signal Hill, CA
Trihydro, one of the top environmental and engineering consulting firms in the country, has an opening for an environmental sampling and operation and maintenance (O&M) technician. In this role, you will assist in providing Trihydro’s clients and customers with effective, responsive, and safe solutions.
Specific tasks will focus on remediation system O&M and monitoring, including collecting effluent and groundwater samples, gauging groundwater wells, inspecting wells, performing field monitoring, repairing pneumatic pumps, replacing hoses and fittings, repairing and replacing system components, downloading electronic data, and evaluating and optimizing systems.
The position involves outdoor work in an industrial setting, 40-50 hours of work per week, and may include occasional overnight travel. If you are looking for an opportunity to get out in the field while improving the environment through project work, we encourage you to apply.
The preferred candidate will be based out of our Signal Hill, CA office.
Our team is looking for someone who has:
- A strong mechanical aptitude (previous mechanical system O&M and electrical controls experience preferred)
- Problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables
- 15+ years of relevant work experience
- A demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
- The ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team members
- Initiative and motivation, with an emphasis on completing project deliverables on schedule
- Dependability, with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- The ability to travel to other regional client sites, as needed (up to 25% of the time).
- The ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential Card
- A clean driving record
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Summary pay range: $23 – $33 per hour
