An Entry-Level Structural Analyst job in Cincinnati, OH is currently available at Belcan. This job is a full-time direct position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent. In this job your primary responsibility will be structural finite element analysis for gas turbine, land vehicle, space vehicle, and other aerospace components. You will report to an FEA Group Leader as a key member of an integrated product team to design/develop, optimize, integrate, deliver, and transition engineering designs to production. Your office will be located in Cincinnati, OH.
Structural Finite Element Analyst job duties:
• Generate and maintain ownership of aerospace structural finite element models
• Perform plan, model, and results reviews, internally and with the customer
• Ensure that models are systematically checked and validated
• Perform analysis, evaluate results, and prepare formal reports of the findings
• Liaise with heat transfer, fluids, design engineering, drafting, and other teams
• Maintain strong communication with the internal project management and with the client
• Manage your own project work and learn from lead and senior analysts
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
• Some experience using Ansys Classic or Ansys Workbench
• Proficiency in understanding technical drawings
• Due to the nature of our work US Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
• Co-op experience in the aerospace industry
• Prior experience in any of the following is highly preferred: Nastran, Hypermesh/Optistruct, Patran, UGNX, Lsdyna, Femap
Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $64,480 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
