DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Provides production art design and consultation for clients and projects.
- Preflight design teams working files before sending to requestors and vendors and ensure accuracy and completion.
- Manage projects between print vendors, designers, and Operations team, to ensure approved artwork is being printed accurately and within specifications.
- Participate in internal project kickoffs, production team meetings, and external vendor meetings.
- Partner with the Production team to review and approve digital and hard copy proofs for print.
- Perform color proofing and retouch for packaging layouts per the projects technical specifications.
- Available for quick-turn mockups and designs, as requested.
- Attend local press checks to ensure color accuracy and quality standards are being met.
- Track and archive final files.
- Will become an expert on technical, legal, and compliance requirements to be able to accurately review packaging.
- Take ownership and proactive measures in daily job duties.
SUMMARY OR REQUIREMENTS:
- Five or more years of experience within a related field
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of print production, graphic design, packaging, and page layout.
- Excellent business communication skills.
- Ability to interact with internal teams and external vendors in 1:1 and group settings both in-person and online.
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Works with internal clients for in-house projects
- Color Management experience.
- Press check experience a plus.
- Will need to be proficient with the latest macOS and have advanced skills with Adobe Creative Suite, prioritizing InDesign, Illustrator, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Smartsheet and Excel experience a plus.
- Undergraduate degree in Graphic Design, Print Production, or a related field or equivalent.

This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.
This contract position has a base pay range of $36 – $54 per hour and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency. Agency benefits may include medical, dental and vision, 401(k), basic/supplemental life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, health and dependent care spending accounts, transportation benefits, employee assistance program, paid sick leave, and up to 6 paid holidays per year. All benefits are subject to elections, eligibility requirements, plan and program terms.
