This Concord-based position is responsible for reviewing applications to ensure they are complete for the Fuel Assistance Program (FAP) and Electric Assistance Program (EAP). The position is vital to ensuring accuracy, so the ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys working on a team in an office environment.

Hours: This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours a week. Hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Review Fuel and Electric Assistance applications for accuracy and eligibility
  • Work behind the scenes to assist the applications to move through the process
  • Learn and understand the federal and state program regulations
  • Communicate with intake staff via email and phone as needed
  • Aide in processing Fuel Assistance emergencies

Qualifications Needed for Position:

  • At least 2 years of prior office experience
  • Prior experience working in Fuel or Electric Assistance Program is great, but not required
  • High school education or equivalent required
  • Keen eye for detail to accurately verify program eligibility requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to prioritize, problem solve, work independently with little supervision.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn and use applicable software

Education Requirements:

  • High school education or the equivalent required.
