Job Title: Birthday Party Helper

Work Hours: Hours vary depending on birthday party bookings
Compensation: $14.00 – $15.00 per hour to start
Reports to: Birthday Party Supervisor
Position Summary:
The Birthday Party Helper is under the direct supervision of the Birthday Supervisor and is responsible for assisting in the set-up for the birthday party, leading games, making food, keeping children entertained, and cleaning up after the party.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 15 years of age.
- Ability to work well with children and adults.
- Must be creative and flexible.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for arriving 30 minutes before the party to assist with set up.
- Greet the children and parents coming in for the party and get children involved in an activity.
- At all times, be polite and courteous, but firm.
- At the end of the party, be sure to clean everything that was used and put it away.
- Clean up all the garbage then leave the bags outside meeting room exit.
- Always make sure all equipment and rooms used are free from any safety hazards.
- Inform the Birthday Party Supervisor if any supplies are needed.
- Responsible for seeing that facility and supplies are not damaged or supplies lost during a party.
- Always wear rubber (vinyl) gloves when serving food and keep a neat and clean appearance, ie. clothes, body, hair and fingers.
- Use appropriate discipline and language with program or event participants.
