The Accounts Payable Specialist executes on all vendor invoice processing for the company. This position reviews, validates and enters all vendor invoices and processes payments within company governance guidelines.
Accounts Payable Processing:
- Process 3-way match invoices (Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts, Invoices).
- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
- Respond to all vendor inquiries and monitor credit status.
- Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.
- Prepare & process weekly electronic and check payment runs.
- Process input from T&E expense reporting and credit card programs.
Administrative Duties:
- Update vendor contact information
- File all invoices and check stubs.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable Experience
- Microsoft office experience including Excel proficiency.
- Familiarity with expense reporting systems (Expensify or Concur) a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and a customer service approach to resolving issues.
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to solve problems and execute independently in a fast-paced environment.
